Huawei Holds ICT Competition 2025, to Advance Digital Talent Development
JAKARTA - Huawei Indonesia recently successfully held an award ceremony for the annual ICT Competition 2025.
This event awards outstanding academics, instructors, and students from the Huawei ICT Academy ecosystem, while encouraging dialogue on education that is aligned with the industry and the development of Indonesia's digital talent.
Director of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Beny Bandanadjaja appreciated Huawei's commitment to nurturing digital talent through a live competition platform
"Higher education must go beyond academic ability and focus on producing adaptive talent that creates real impact," Benny said in his statement.
ICT Academy Huawei reflects the quadruple helix collaboration model, encouraging universities to become the center of solutions and hope for the future.
In line with this view, the Head of the Digital Talent Development Center, Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi), Said Mirza Pahlevi emphasized that by including the National Competency Standards for Indonesian Workers (SKKNI) into learning is very important to prepare digital talent who are ready to enter the world of work.
Meanwhile, Qianshihong, Chief of Strategy, Huawei Indonesia, said that the event marked an important milestone in Huawei Indonesia's collective efforts to nurture a future workforce that is resilient and adaptive.
"Collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, the Ministry of Communication and Digital, and partners such as APTIKOM is very important in aligning education with industry needs and improving the global competitiveness of Indonesian digital talent," said Qianshihong.
During this event, Huawei also announced the winners of the ICT Competition Indonesia Final, where the Bandung National Institute of Technology (ITENAS) managed to win the 1st place in the Network Track, Cloud Track, and Computing Track, while the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
