Bitcoin Price Weakens to IDR 1.46 Billion by the End of the Year
JAKARTA - The price of Bitcoin (BTC) has weakened again in the last 24 hours, where Ajaib recorded Bitcoin falling 1.20 percent to the level of 87,225 US dollars or around Rp. 1.46 billion.
This decline occurred after BTC had touched the level of 90,406 US dollars (Rp1.51 billion). Meanwhile, the total market capitalization of crypto assets fell 1.25 percent to 2.92 trillion US dollars.
Financial Expert Ajaib, Panji Yudha, assessed that the movement of Bitcoin ahead of the closing of 2025 is still in the consolidation phase.
He explained that throughout 2025, Bitcoin's year-to-date (YTD) performance was recorded as weakening 6.90 percent, with the price movement narrowing to the range of US$87,000-90,000 or around Rp1.45-Rp1.5 billion.
Tokocrypto noted that today's BTC price drop shows that market sentiment is still tending to be defensive.
Investors and traders seem to be waiting for confirmation of the next direction, whether Bitcoin is able to hold above the psychological support area of 85,000 US dollars (Rp. 1.42 billion) or continue to continue deeper corrections.
In the short term, BTC's movement is likely to remain volatile, influenced by global liquidity dynamics and the overall risk sentiment of the crypto market.
"For traders, this condition opens up opportunities from price volatility, while for long-term investors, the correction phase can be a strategic observation period before making further decisions," Tokocrypto said.
