Gaikindo Records Positive Achievement Through Six Automotive Exhibitions Throughout 2025
JAKARTA - Gaikindo successfully held a series of automotive exhibitions throughout 2025 in a number of strategic cities in Indonesia, which also contributed to the achievement of the national automotive industry this year.
Throughout the year, Gaikindo held a total of six exhibitions, including the 32nd Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) which took place on July 24-August 3, as well as exhibitions in several other major cities.
All Gaikindo automotive exhibitions recorded very positive results, both in terms of participation, number of visitors, and their contribution to the performance of the automotive industry in the country.
Gaikindo Chairman, Putu Juli, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all parties who have provided full support for the series of exhibitions. According to him, 2025 is a challenging period for the Indonesian automotive industry, so that the holding of exhibitions is a strategic effort to showcase developments, achievements, and encourage industry growth.
"We are very grateful that all the exhibition series we have held can take place successfully, record very positive results, and contribute to the achievement of the Indonesian industry, especially at the end of this year," said Putu in an official statement received, Tuesday, December 30.
He added, in the midst of ongoing challenges, automotive exhibitions are one of the important factors in boosting market enthusiasm and maintaining the sustainability of the national automotive industry.
In line with this, Chairman of the Daily and Chairman of the Gaikindo Exhibition and Conference, Anton Kumonty, also expressed his pride in the achievement of a series of automotive exhibitions throughout 2025.
"We are very grateful for the achievements recorded by all automotive exhibitions this year. More than 780 thousand visitors attended the six exhibitions that took place in various regions, showing the high attention of the public to the Indonesian automotive industry," said Anton.
Based on Gaikindo data, the series of automotive exhibitions throughout 2025 managed to record sales of more than 60 thousand units of vehicles, or increased by around 14 percent compared to the achievements of the exhibition in 2024. Meanwhile, the Permata Bank GJAW 2025 which was held at the end of November 2025 recorded sales of more than 14 thousand units of vehicles, up more than 20 percent compared to previous exhibitions.
"The achievement of the Gaikindo 2025 exhibition is proof of Gaikindo's continued commitment with all its members to continue to maintain the growth of the Indonesian automotive industry so that it continues to contribute to the country," concluded Anton.
