Bangladesh's First Female PM Dies at 80
JAKARTA - Bangladesh's first female Prime Minister, Khaleda Zia, has died.
Citing AFP, the sad news was announced by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) which is the opposition party on Tuesday, December 30.
Khaleda, who is 80 years old, had undergone treatment at the hospital.
According to the doctor who treated him, Khaleda suffered from advanced stage of liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, chest and heart problems.
