Teramini from Ghea Indrawari is Considered the Most Permanent Soundtrack for the Film Musuh Dalam Selimut

JAKARTA - Director Hadrah Daeng Ratu revealed the reason behind the selection of the song Teramini from Ghea Indrawari as the soundtrack for the film Enemy in the Blanket.

As is known, "Teramini" which was written by Ghea herself, was first introduced as part of the album "Berdamai" which was released in March 2024.

Hadrah explained that Ghea's song has a similar narrative to what he wants to convey in the film Enemy in the Blanket.

"In this film, we are chasing whatever it is, however it is, if it is not ours, it will not be ours. But if something is destined to be ours, it will definitely not pass us by," said Hadrah at a press conference before the gala premiere of Enemies in the Blanket in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Monday, December 29.

"From the quote, we feel that Ghea's 'Teramini' song represents the whole story - that in the end we accept whatever happens in our lives," he added. "So, from the whole story, we think it's the most appropriate song to end the story."

In addition, the film starring Yasmin Napper, Megan Domani, and Arbani Yasiz also uses another Ghea song titled "Angel", still from the album "Berdamai".

"If one more, the song 'Angel', we really dedicate it to Andhika (the character played by Arbani) as an angel," said Hadrah. "Remember, the angels are on the right, there are on the left. So, according to the interpretation of each audience. "

Meanwhile, the film Enemy in the Blanket invites the audience to enter the life of Gadis (Yasmin Napper), a woman who feels everything is fine, whether it's the household, hopes, and routines that run normally. That warmth is even more complete when she is pregnant with her first child with Andika (Arbani Yasiz).

At the same time, Suzy (Megan Domani), a neighbor who slowly emerged as a friend who was quick to help, attentive, and always there in moments that should calm. But the closeness that was originally warm, slowly shifted into something strange.

Andika was also dragged into a closeness that was increasingly difficult to explain, until the Girl's sympathy slowly turned to doubt, then became suspicious, until she was suffocated by a hanging question.

Not just a love triangle or an affair, this film wants to raise a deeper issue - complete with various surprises and plot twists that will make the audience feel that it is not enough to watch it once.

"In my opinion, we often watch or are served with linear dramas, and here I try to make a film that can make the audience also involved in stringing stories in their own minds," said Hadrah.

"This film is not just about a love triangle or an affair, but it's about people and their mental health - how someone's background can get to the point of being able to hurt others," he concluded.

For information, Enemy in the Blanket produced by Narasi Semesta - in collaboration with Unlimited Production, Legacy Pictures, A&Z, and Subtube - will premiere in theaters on January 8, 2026.

In addition to Yasmin Napper, Megan Domani, and Arbani Yasiz, the film also stars Fitria Rasyidi, Willem Bevers, Cakrawala Airawan, and Chrismanto Eka Prastio.
