Two Thieves Target Woman Selling Fish Boxes in Cilincing, Losing Millions of Money and Vivo Mobile Phone  

JAKARTA - An elderly woman named Jumriyah alias Juju (60) who sells fish boxes became a victim of theft on Jalan Cilincing Lama, Krematorium, RT 07/04, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, Monday, December 29.

The victim lost Rp3.3 million in cash and his Vivo brand cellphone after it was taken by two perpetrators.

The head of the Cilincing Police, AKP Bobi Subasri, said that his party had received the information and had visited the location of the incident.

"We have dug out the victim's statement and advised the victim to report the incident to the Cilincing Police," said AKP Bobi when confirmed, Monday, December 29.

In addition, the Cilincing Police Criminal Investigation Unit has also visited the crime scene to find witnesses and supporting CCTV footage.

"The crime scene has been checked, the perpetrator is still under investigation. We respond to every report either through 110 or viral news to provide the best service to the community," he said.

Based on the witness's statement to the police, the incident began when two unidentified people came to the victim's shop.

Then the perpetrator asked the victim about the price of the fish box. Then the perpetrator entered the victim's store without being known and stole some money and goods.

"Apparently the perpetrator stole more than Rp3.3 million and the victim's Vivo brand cellphone," he said.

Currently, the case is still being handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilincing Police to carry out further processes.
