Miley Cyrus' Reason for Coming to the 2025 Oscars, for the OST of the Film
JAKARTA - Miley Cyrus filled the soundtrack for the film Avatar: Fire and Ash, James Cameron's latest film with his original song. The 33-year-old singer admitted that finally coming to the 2025 Oscars was sweet.
Cyrus explained that he offered himself to fill the song to the filmmaker. One way is by attending film award events such as the Oscars.
"I went to the Oscars this year. Everyone came up and introduced themselves, I said 'If you need music, I'm available,'" Miley Cyrus told People.
Likewise when meeting James Cameon at the D23 Expo where the two were awarded as Disney Legends.
"I always ask like usual. I already know the answer from "What are you working on?" because I know he's been working on Avatar for a long time," he explained.
"I said 'let me know if you need music' It just happened organically. James called us 'Ipar Legenda'," he said again.
This is not the first time Miley Cyrus has offered herself to filmmakers. Previously, she also did the same thing to director Gia Coppola for the film The Last Showgirl.
"I did the same thing with Jamie Lee Curtis. That's how I did Last Showgirl and now it's part of Avatar," he said.
Before becoming a singer, Miley Cyrus made an appearance as an actress in the film Drive-Away Dolls. He also acted in the film Mountain Magic Christmas starring Dolly Parton.
