Large-scale Post-disaster Operation, TNI Commander Agus Subiyanto: 32 Bridges Have Been Built
JAKARTA - The TNI Commander, General TNI Agus Subiyanto, conveyed the results of a large-scale post-disaster operation for disaster recovery in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.
This was stated by the TNI Commander during a press conference at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, Monday, December 29.
According to Agus Subianto, during the recovery process, the TNI has built 32 bridges. The construction of this emergency bridge is able to open access to roads that were isolated after the disaster.
Several bridges have been used by the community to carry out activities such as the Teupin Mane bridge, the Teupin Reudep bridge, the Jeumpa bridge, the Matang Bangka bridge, the Kutablang bridge, and the Weh Pase bridge, in Aceh. Then, the Hamparan Perak bridge and the Anggoli Sibabangun bridge in North Sumatra, as well as several other bridges.
The TNI also deployed 89 units of main weapons system equipment (alutsista). It consists of aircraft, helicopters, and RI warships (KRI). As for logistics that have been distributed, there are 2,669.53 tons.
According to Agus Subiyanto, the logistics were sent both by air and land.
