Ducati XDiavel V4 Officially Hits the Road in India with a Price of IDR 500 Million

JAKARTA - Ducati officially presents the Ducati XDiavel V4 to the Indian market. This motorcycle carries a strong sport cruiser philosophy, combining a relaxed cruiser riding position with the typical performance DNA of Ducati superbikes.

Reported by Indianautoblogs, Monday, December 29, the XDiavel V4 is aimed at riders who want a striking design, a dominant aura on the road, and high performance in one package. Visually, the XDiavel V4 engine stands out thanks to the exclusive glossy black coating for this series.

Ducati also equips it with an extended cylinder deactivation system, which turns off the rear cylinder at low load to improve efficiency. The Twin Pulse combustion order and special exhaust produce a distinctive, thick and dynamic sound.

In terms of maintenance, the service interval is quite impressive, with major service scheduled every 60,000 km. The main source of power comes from the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, which is derived from the MotoGP development and Ducati superbike line.

This machine is capable of spitting out power up to 168 hp and peak torque of 12.8 kgm. Interestingly, the counter-rotating crankshaft is used to reduce the gyroscopic effect, so that the motor remains agile and precise despite its large and muscular posture.

The character of the power distribution is also made smooth and easy to control, suitable for daily use in urban areas and long-distance travel. In terms of ergonomics, Ducati designed the XDiavel V4 with a low and relaxed sitting position, but still maintains a sharp driving character.

The DNA of performance inspired by dragsters makes this motorcycle not only comfortable, but also aggressive when driven. For the Indian market, the Ducati XDiavel V4 is offered in two metallic color options, namely Burning Red and Black Lava.

The price is pegged at 3,088,000 rupees, or equivalent to Rp576 million for the Burning Red color and Rp582 million for Black Lava. With this price tag, the XDiavel V4 confirms its position as one of the most exclusive high-performance sport cruisers in India.
