2. Amoeba Eating Brain from Nose Water
In June, a woman in Texas died after being infected with the rare amoeba Naegleria fowleri. The infection is suspected to have occurred when she cleaned her nose with water from the tank of her recreational vehicle. The water turned out to be not sterile.
