Expand Global Expansion, Xpeng Comes to Qatar with These Two Models

JAKARTA - Chinese automotive manufacturers continue to aggressively expand internationally. Most recently, Xpeng announced a series of recent developments in the Middle East with the launch of a brand in Doha, Qatar.

Based on a report from CNevpost, quoted Sunday, December 28, at an event in Doha, Xpeng introduced the G9 and G6 SUVs. The move is the same as the Indonesian market which brings the two models above.

In Qatar, Xpeng also plans to bring the P7+ sedan in the future, while seeing the brand's development with the two main models introduced.

Xpeng's entry into Qatar is a step to deepen its footprint in the Middle East and Africa region, as well as laying the foundation for future expansion into the Gulf region.

"Qatar will be an important gateway for us to connect with global users, showcase cutting-edge smart technology, and provide a premium mobility experience," said GM Xpeng Middle East and Africa region, Wang Ke.

Xpeng has revealed further progress in the Middle East. Earlier this month, the company opened a new flagship experience center in Abu Dhabi, UAE, which aims to improve the user experience.

The Chinese brand also launched an accessories warehouse in Dubai in October, providing faster spare parts support for models such as the G6 and G9.
