2025/2026 Super League Schedule Today: 8th Week Postponed Match There is Borneo FC and Persebaya
JAKARTA - The 2025/2026 Super League will resume on Sunday, December 28, with three postponed matches in the 8th week. Here is the match schedule, which also presents the duel between Borneo FC and Persebaya Surabaya.
Today's match will be opened with a top-tier team match between Malut United against Borneo FC which is the top four team. This match will take place at the Kie Raha Stadium, Ternate at 13.30 WIB.
Ahead of the match, Malut United, who are the hosts, can add player strength. This is because Gustavo Franca and Yakob Sayuri have returned to the field after missing 3 matches due to the Komdis PSSI sanction.
Malut United coach Hendri Susilo said his team was in full confidence.
"All players are ready to play. The return of Yakob and Gustavo certainly adds strength and confidence to the team," said Hendri as quoted from the official I.League website, Sunday, December 28.
Meanwhile, Gustavo Franca emphasized that concentration must be maintained until tomorrow's match.
"The players always work hard in every training session before this match. Therefore, we must remain focused on playing a tough match tomorrow," said the 29-year-old Brazilian.
In addition to Malut United who host Borneo FC, today's match was continued with the meeting of Persebaya Surabaya who can host Persijap Jepara. This match was held at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT) at 15.30 WIB.
Appearing at home, Bajul Ijo is determined to get full points. However, Assistant Coach Uston Nawawi asked his team not to underestimate their opponents.
"I remind the whole team, don't underestimate Persijap even though they are at the bottom of the table," said Uston Nawawi at a press conference ahead of the match.
Furthermore, the postponed match of the 8th week today will also present a meeting between Madura United who will look at the match against Semen Padang.
The match will be exciting considering the condition of the two teams. Madura United is building confidence after a draw against Arema FC last week.
Meanwhile, Semen Padang is in a positive trend after successfully defeating the top team, Persija Jakarta in the previous match.
