Pelita Air Brings in the 16th Airbus A320, Strengthening Nataru Flight Service

JAKARTA - Pelita Air officially brought the 16th Airbus A320 aircraft. The arrival of this aircraft with the registration PK-PWQ is a strategic step for the company to ensure that flight services remain reliable and excellent during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru) period.

Pelita Air President Director, Dendy Kurniawan, said the arrival of this latest fleet is a real commitment of the company in supporting national air connectivity, especially during the peak holiday season.

"The arrival of the 16th aircraft which arrived on Christmas Day is the end-of-year 'gift' from Pelita Air for the community," said Dendy in an official statement, Friday, December 26, 2025.

Dendy said that the addition of this fleet is aimed at ensuring seat availability and strengthening flight frequencies on strategic routes.

"So, the travel needs of the community during the Nataru period can be accommodated well," he said.

He emphasized that the expansion of the fleet was in line with Pelita Air's mission to expand public access to enjoy safe, comfortable, and on-time flight services.

According to Dendy, this operational strengthening is expected to be able to ensure the smooth running of the holiday journey for all passengers on the Pelita Air route network.
