Kaltim Fertilizer Promotes Agricultural Productivity through One Day Promotion in 10 Provinces
JAKARTA - PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Pupuk Kaltim), as part of Pupuk Indonesia Holding Company, has once again reaffirmed its commitment to encouraging national agricultural productivity through the One Day Promotion (ODP) program which was successfully held in 10 provinces in Indonesia.
This program is an effort by the company to increase the affordability of fertilizer for farmers, as well as introduce flagship products that are beneficial in increasing agricultural productivity.
Director of Finance & General Affairs of Kaltim Fertilizer Qomaruzzaman explained that One Day Promotion (ODP) is one of the company's strategic steps in supporting the government's priority programs to achieve national food self-sufficiency.
"One Day Promotion (ODP) is a form of gratitude for our 48th birthday. Through this program, we want to provide convenience for farmers to access non-subsidized fertilizer to support agricultural productivity," he said in a statement, Friday, December 26.
Pupuk Kaltim held a series of One Day Promotion (ODP) programs from November 16 to December 5, 2025, involving a network of kiosks and official distribution partners.
The program was held at 48 points spread across 10 provinces, including North Sumatra, Riau, Central Java, East Java, West Nusa Tenggara, North Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, East Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and West Kalimantan.
In this program, he said that Kaltim Fertilizer provides a variety of non-subsidized fertilizer products that are tailored to the needs of commodities and the characteristics of each region.
According to him, a number of products offered in this program include Urea Nitrea Fertilizer, Fruit Leaf Fertilizer, Fruit Leaf Urea Fertilizer Plus Microba, Rainbow NPK Fertilizer, JOS NPK Fertilizer, to Ecofert Organic Fertilizer, and Biodex Biodecomposer.
He explained that the One Day Promotion (ODP) is a program to sell products directly to farmers, where every purchase of a minimum of 20 kg per product is entitled to 1 coupon that will be drawn on the day of implementation.
"This strategy has proven effective in attracting the enthusiasm of farmers, with total sales reaching 836 thousand tons of fertilizer during the program," he explained.
In addition to direct sales, Qomaruzzaman said the company also presented the Kaltim Fertilizer Product Exhibition which was held in 7 of the 10 provinces where the One Day Promotion (ODP) was held.
He said that this exhibition not only aims to introduce various flagship products, but also opens a space for dialogue between farmers and agronomists of Kaltim Fertilizer, so that farmers can gain a deeper understanding of the use of products, as well as balanced fertilization recommendations according to crop needs.
"This program is our way of expressing our appreciation to farmers as national food heroes. Kaltim Fertilizer is committed to continuing to be closer to farmers and providing quality and affordable products to meet the needs of Indonesian farmers," he said.
