Results of the Eligibility Test, Officers Find 4 AKAP Buses Unfit to Operate at Tanjung Priok Terminal
JAKARTA - The Cilincing Motor Vehicle Management Unit (UP PKB) of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service together with the Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal found four interprovincial intercity bus (AKAP) fleets that were not eligible to operate on Thursday, December 25, 2025.
Head of Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal, Sandi, said that the results of the 2025 road traffic and transport safety inspection (rampcheck) of five bus fleets found that four buses were not roadworthy.
"Unroadworthy vehicles are Budiman buses with the license plate (nopol) Z 7517 HC for the Tanjung Priok-Banjar route, found to be unfit because the right rear tire is bald, the emergency door is blocked by a seat and the driver's belt is not working. The vehicle is not roadworthy," Sandi told VOI, Thursday, December 25, 2025.
The second bus that was not roadworthy, continued Sandi, was on the Budiman bus with the number Z 7841 HC route Tanjung Priok-Banjar. The bus did not pass the test because the wiper only worked one and the emergency door was blocked by a chair.
"The M Trans Tanjung Priok-Surabaya bus with the number DK 7134 FE was found to be unfit for use because the main glass was cracked and deviated from the route," he said.
Furthermore, the Murni Jaya bus with the number A 7729 KL route Tanjung Priok-Madura. The bus is not suitable because the emergency door is blocked by a chair and a glass beater is not available and the right rear tire is bald.
Meanwhile, 13 bus drivers were examined for health. The results of the examination, 13 bus drivers were declared healthy and fit to drive.
