Noel to former Taspen CEO Antonius Kosasih Attend Christmas at KPK Detention Center
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) facilitated the implementation of the 2025 Christmas service for 12 prisoners of the Christian faith. Among them are the former Deputy Minister of Manpower, Immanuel Ebenezer alias Noel, to the former President Director of PT Taspen (Persero), Antonius N.S. Kosasih.
The Christmas service was held at the KPK Branch Red and White Building Detention House (Rutan), today, Thursday, December 25, 2025.
KPK spokesperson, Budi Prasetyo, said that facilitating Christmas worship was a form of respect for the basic rights of prisoners in carrying out their religious beliefs.
In addition to Christmas worship, the KPK also gave the opportunity to the families and relatives of the detainees to make special visits in the morning before the series of worship began.
"The visit took place in an orderly manner. The prisoners met with their families in a solemn atmosphere on this year's Christmas celebration," Budi told reporters, Thursday, December 25, 2025.
Budi emphasized that all of these activities were in line with the principle of respect for human rights and the principles of carrying out the duties and powers of the KPK as stipulated in Article 5 of Law Number 19 of 2019.
"The KPK ensures that the fulfillment of the basic rights of prisoners is still carried out, including in carrying out religious worship," he said.
Based on the information received, there were as many as 12 prisoners who attended the Christmas service held in the face-to-face room of the prison. The following is the complete list:
