Support the Acceleration of the Development of the Red and White Village Cooperative, SIG Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Agrinas Pangan Nusantara
PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) and PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara (Persero) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Provision and Utilization of Building Material Solutions for the Development of Red and White Village/Neighborhood Cooperatives.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was carried out by the President Director of SIG, Indrieffouny Indra and the President Director of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara (Persero), Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota, witnessed by the Minister of Cooperatives, Ferry Juliantono, Member of Commission VI of the DPR RI, Rieke Diah Pitaloka, and President Commissioner of SIG, Sigit Widyawan, at the Office of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Jakarta, on Wednesday, December 17.
Minister of Cooperatives, Ferry Juliantono, expressed his appreciation for the synergy between SIG and Agrinas in supporting the acceleration of the development of Red and White Village/Neighborhood Cooperatives throughout Indonesia.
"Thank you for this strategic collaboration initiative. This memorandum of understanding will build synergy between SIG and Agrinas, especially in accelerating and facilitating the implementation of Presidential Instruction No. 17 of 2025 concerning the Acceleration of Physical Development of Red and White Village Cooperative Shops, Warehouses and Completeness," said Ferry Juliantono.
SIG President Director, Indrieffouny Indra, said that the signing of this memorandum of understanding is a manifestation of synergy between SOEs in supporting the national development agenda, especially strengthening cooperatives as a pillar of the people's economy. He also emphasized that this cooperation is in line with SIG's mission as a provider of sustainable building materials solutions, to provide efficient, quality, and environmentally friendly building materials products and construction solutions.
This is strengthened by a network of production and distribution facilities spread throughout Indonesia, so that it is able to meet the needs of development with guaranteed supply and maintained product quality.
"Through this cooperation, SIG is committed to supporting the Government's program through PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara by presenting reliable and quality building material solutions, so that the construction of the Red and White Village/Subdistrict Cooperative facilities can run effectively, sustainably, and provide long-term benefits," said Indrieffouny Indra.
The President Director of Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota, said that the signing of this memorandum of understanding is an opportunity for the nation's children to unite to build Indonesia by using national products. This is in line with the development goals of the Red and White Village / Village Cooperative to build a people's economy throughout Indonesia so that the benefits can be felt by the community.
"The process of building the Red and White Village/Neighborhood Cooperative will maximize the potential of local resources or local craftsmen to support development. We also emphasize the use of local natural resources. Not only stones and sand from the surrounding environment, but also shops that sell national products, especially SIG cement products. This should be a benchmark for the development of national projects to promote national products," said Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota.
