iPhone Air 2 Leak: Still Released Even Though Sales of the First Generation Were Not Satisfactory
JAKARTA - Many reports state that this year's iPhone Air sales are not satisfactory. However, the latest rumors state that Apple will remain optimistic by releasing the second generation.
The information leaker named Fixed Focus Digital, reported from 9to5mac, stated that Apple will introduce the iPhone Air 2 at their annual event in the coming fall. Usually, this annual event is held in early September.
This leak is different from previous rumors, where Apple was reported to have stopped the production schedule of the iPhone Air 2. In fact, Apple is said to have removed the phone from the release schedule without an exact date.
However, the movement from the supply chain does show the readiness of the production of the iPhone Air 2. In addition to the iPhone Air 2, Apple is also rumored to be preparing the iPhone 17e for debut in the coming spring.
The device is not present in conjunction with other iPhone series because it will be released in March next year. Both the iPhone Air 2 and the iPhone 17e are expected to be able to fix various shortcomings in the first generation.
Reportedly, one of the improvements that Apple made was redesigning the iPhone Air 2 by including a second camera lens. In addition to improvements to the camera, the California-based technology giant is also considering lowering its selling price.
This strategy is taken so that the device is more competitive and attractive to a wider market. For the iPhone 17e model, leaks say that Apple will use the latest C1X modem to deliver more stable connectivity.
