“I want everyone to care and be serious. If this is not the case, then until whenever this rehabilitation and reconstruction will never be completed. The solution is in the hands of the provincial, city and district governments, ”he said in a special coordination meeting for the implementation of post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction 2018 in Central Sulawesi, at the Central Sulawesi Governor's office in Palu City, quoted by Antara, Thursday, May 27.
Even though the PUPR Ministry is ready to build all shelters for all disaster survivors complete with the infrastructure. Provided that the location of the land has been determined and released and there is no dispute over ownership by residents or any party on the land.
Wempi said, the PUPR Ministry had pocketed funds for the completion of rehabilitation and reconstruction in three areas affected by the 2018 disaster in Central Sulawesi, which came from loans, including the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). ).
"The funds are ready to be used. We want to help complete this rehabilitation and reconstruction but we need their help. Let us work together and together let us fulfill what is the right of the survivors that we must fulfill, "he said.
Until now, said Wempi, his party was still waiting and receiving data on survivors who were entitled to huntap. The Ministry of PUPR's rehabilitation and reconstruction activities will resume starting next month.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Central Sulawesi Disaster Management Task Force, Arie Setiadi Moerwanto, in the meeting said that, of the total land requirements for the construction of huntap and infrastructure facilities in Palu City covering an area of 928.46 hectares (ha), only 560.93 ha have been released and submitted by the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR) of the National Land Agency (BPN) to the Ministry of PUPR.
"Meanwhile, in Sigi Regency, of the total need for huntap land covering an area of 620 ha, 362 ha have been freed and handed over to the Ministry of PUPR.
