Five Islands for Foreign and Domestic Tourists are Monitored by Joint Forces Security
JAKARTA - The Head of the Thousand Islands Police, AKBP Argadija Putra, conducted a check on the 5 islands in the Thousand Islands area, North Jakarta on Wednesday, December 24.
The check of the security post was carried out to find out the full readiness in facing the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) security.
"Checks are carried out on five inhabited islands that are the center of community and tourist activities. The five islands are located on Untung Jawa Island, Pari Island, Tidung Island, Pramuka Island, and Harapan Island," said AKBP Argadija Putra when contacted.
The Police Chief also ensured the readiness of personnel, the completeness of infrastructure facilities, and the service mechanism that was prepared to anticipate the surge in community activities during the Christmas holiday.
"The Kepulauan Seribu Police are ready to secure the Christmas and New Year celebrations. We ensure that all post-pam functions optimally as a service center for security, information, and health for the community and tourists," he said.
Nataru spam in the Thousand Islands region was carried out in an integrated manner involving elements of the National Police, TNI, and the Regional Government.
This cross-agency synergy is focused on efforts to prevent kamtibmas disturbances, securing tourist attractions, piers, and sea transportation routes, as well as providing a sense of security and comfort for the community.
