BRI Optimizes 1.2 Million BRILink Agents to BRImo Super Apps During Christmas

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk anticipates a surge in community activity during the Christmas and New Year 2026 period by activating a number of financial services ecosystems. Based on data from the Ministry of Transportation, the potential for community movement during the 2025 Nataru holiday is estimated to reach 119 million people, or about 42.6 percent of the total population of Indonesia.

The services include the BRI Office network, e-channels, the BRImo super app, and AgentBRILink which are spread to the corners of the region.

BRI Operations Director Hakim Putratama said, BRI provides transaction convenience through 1.2 million BRILink Agents which can be an alternative service that is close and easily accessible by customers to carry out various financial transactions, without relying on the operating hours of the BRI Office.

"On the other hand, to ensure the smooth running of services during the Nataru holiday period, BRI also strengthens its digital infrastructure so that customer transaction access remains optimal," he said, Wednesday, December 24.

During the Nataru period, BRI services are supported by 19,657 ATM and CRM networks, 284,670 merchant EDC machines, and QRIS BRI which has been used by more than 4.6 million merchants and is spread across various strategic areas.

As part of the service arrangement, during this Nataru period, BRI also operates 159 Nataru operational service BRI Offices and 67 Weekend Banking, so that the public's transaction needs can continue to be well served.

On December 25, 2025 and January 1, 2025, BRI offices will not operate at all so that customers can make transactions digitally.

However, the company operates an office for operational services on a limited basis as well as an office for weekend banking services so that the public's transaction needs can still be served well.

More specifically, Nataru services are limited at a number of BRI offices available on December 26, 2025 and December 27, 2025. Then, weekend banking is available on December 27, 2025 and December 28, 2025. As for December 29-31, 2025 and January 2, 2025, BRI office services operate fully.
