This is the Explanation of Incentives for Jakarta Workers who are Not Satisfied with UMP 2026

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung promised incentives for workers in Jakarta when setting the DKI Jakarta provincial minimum wage (UMP) in 2026. The incentives provided are subsidized food, subsidized clean water PAM Jaya, free public transportation managed by the DKI Provincial Government, and free health services.

Pramono said that this incentive was given so that workers in Jakarta could meet their basic needs if the salary they received was not enough. The following is more complete information about the incentives provided:

1. Subsidized food

This incentive is given to workers who have DKI Jakarta KTP and companies domiciled in Jakarta. Recipients of this incentive must have a Jakarta Worker Card (KPJ).

The DKI Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Office (Disnakertransgi) verifies and validates workers who submit a proposal for the creation of the Jakarta Worker Card (KPJ), then issues a Decree from the Head of Disnakertransgi.

Then, Disnakertransgi submitted a proposal for the KPJ based on the SK of the Head of the Disnakertransgi to Bank Jakarta and the Directorate of Food Security, Marine and Agriculture (DKPKP). DKPKP forwarded the letter from Disnakertransgi to Bank Jakarta after data verification (maximum wage coefficient of 1.15 DKI Jakarta UMR).

Then, Bank Jakarta will process the creation of KPJ (after the account book and ATM card are printed), your name will be listed in the beneficiary whitelist.

2. Clean water subsidy

This subsidy includes the Healthy Water Card with water rates starting at Rp. 1,000 per square meter. Workers can get this incentive if they become PAM Jaya customers, live in a house building with a size of ≤ 70 square meters, and fall into category 2A1 or category 2A2.

Workers also need to have KPJ. The registration requirements for Private Employees Holding KPJ are: - photocopy of DKI Jakarta Provincial ID card - letter of active work - photocopy of Jakarta Employee Card - income certificate - latest photo of yourself
