DPD RI Member Acknowledges Bali is Quiet for Tourists, Explains the Causes, One of Which is the Garbage Problem
JAKARTA - Bali is rumored to be deserted by tourists, both domestic and foreign. The issue emerged on social media with videos showing the atmosphere of the streets in Bali which seemed deserted a few days ago. In fact, the world community is enjoying the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holidays.
Arya Wedakarna, member of the DPD RI from Bali, confirmed the condition of Bali which was empty of tourists during the Christmas holiday.
Bali Governor Wayan Koster denied the issue that Bali was empty of tourists during the Nataru period this time. In fact, in various media he emphasized that he had data that every day the total number of tourists coming to Bali increased.
Even so, when interviewed online, Tuesday, December 23, Arya Wedakarna believes that Bali is quiet from tourists in the Nataru period this time.
