KPK Candidate Selection Beres, Former Spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika is a Candidate for Investigation Director

JAKARTA - Former Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto is one of the three candidates for Investigation Director who were declared to have passed the selection.

This was known through the announcement numbered B/006/PANSELKPK/12/2025 which was signed by Ranu Mihardja as the Chairperson of the Selection Committee (Pansel) for the Candidate for the KPK's First High-ranking Officer on Tuesday, December 23. The process to fill a number of vacant positions is known to have been carried out since October 17.

"Considering the results of all stages of the JPT Open Selection in the KPK environment, this establishes the three best candidates for each position," the announcement quoted as saying, Wednesday, December 24.

In addition to Tessa, the two candidates who passed as Investigation Directors were Achmad Taufik from the KPK agency and Farhan who came from the Attorney General's Office.

As for Tessa, he is now acting as the acting director of investigations. He sits in that position replacing Irjen Endar Priantoro who is currently the East Kalimantan Police Chief.

Next, Pansel also announced the three best candidates for other positions. Here are the details:

Head of the Legal Bureau: Farhan Abdi Utama from the State Civil Service Agency; Iskandar Marwoto from the KPK agency; and Wahyu Tri Hartomo from the Ministry of Law

Director of Corruption Detection and Analysis: Dzikran Kurniawan from the Jakarta Provincial Government; Kuswanto from the KPK; and Taryanto from the KPK.

Director of Prosecution of the KPK: Agustinus Heri Mulyanto from the Attorney General's Office; Budhi S from the Attorney General's Office; and Wagiyo from the KPK Directorate of Community Participation Development: Danang Sri Wibowo R. from the Ministry of Coordinating Human Development and Culture

Economy; Kunto Ariawan from the KPK agency; and Rahmaluddin Singgih from the KPK agency

Director of Regional Coordination and Supervision V: David Hartono Hutauruk from the KPK agency; Maruli Tua from the KPK agency; and Niken Wulandari from the Bintan Regency Government agency

"We thank the public for their participation in providing input, aspirations, and track records related to the candidates for filling the position of the First High-ranking Position (JPT) in the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) environment," said Ranu.

"The decision of the Open Selection Committee of the JPT Pratama in the KPK environment is final and cannot be challenged."

"All of these names will then be submitted to the Civil Service Development Officer (PPK) by Pansel. "Then it will be submitted to the Civil Service Development Officer for the final stage," he said on October 16.

The candidates selected for each position have gone through various stages. Starting from administrative selection; paper selection; selection of competence and socio-cultural assessment; mental health selection; to paper presentation and interview.
