Jasa Marga Gives 20 Percent Discount on Toll Rates during the Nataru Holiday, Check the List

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) has imposed a 20 percent discount on toll rates on eight strategic toll roads starting today.

Jasa Marga President Director Rivan Achmad Purwantono explained that the discount was a form of stimulus to increase the smoothness of logistics distribution and community mobility.

In addition, this policy is expected to be able to encourage national economic growth during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru 2025/2026) period.

"Starting today, Jasa Marga has imposed a 20 percent discount on toll rates on a number of strategic sections. This policy is expected to help reduce congestion at peak traffic and provide economic benefits for road users," said Rivan in a written statement, Monday, December 22.

The 20 percent tariff reduction applies to all vehicle categories that travel continuously using an electronic toll card. For the Trans Java and Trans Sumatra regions, the discount is valid for three days, namely on December 22, 23 and 31, 2025.

The toll sections that get a 20 percent discount include:

Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road

MBZ Flyover Toll Road

Palimanan-Kanci Toll Road

Batang-Semarang Toll Road

Semarang Toll Road Section A, B, C

Belawan-Medan-Tanjung Morawa Toll Road (Belmera)

Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road (MKTT)

For the Manado-Bitung Toll Road in Sulawesi, a 20 percent discount is given with a longer duration, namely for 20 days starting from December 22, 2025 to January 10, 2026.

Rivan added that the policy was also in line with the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles carried out by the company, especially in the social aspect to increase community accessibility.

Jasa Marga noted that traffic flow began to show a significant increase ahead of the Christmas holiday peak.

Until H-4 Christmas, December 21, 2025, a total of 666,993 vehicles have left the Jabotabek area.

This figure increased by 8.1 percent compared to normal traffic of around 617,273 vehicles.

The distribution of lalin is mostly towards the East (Trans Java and Bandung) at 45.8 percent, followed by the West (Merak) at 30.3 percent and the South (Puncak) at 23.9 percent.

The most significant increase occurred at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) towards the Trans Java direction, which increased by 23.3 percent from the normal lane.

Meanwhile, in the GT Kalihurip Utama direction Bandung, the increase in vehicle volume reached 12.1 percent.

Road users are urged to take advantage of the tariff discount to avoid vehicle congestion on peak days.

The public is also asked to ensure the adequacy of electronic money balances and the condition of vehicles in good condition before starting the journey.
