Anticipating the Surge in Nataru Tourists, Bogor Safari Park Adds Ambulances
BOGOR — Taman Safari Indonesia Bogor received a grant for one ambulance from PT Jasaraharja Putera as an effort to strengthen operational readiness and risk management of visitor safety ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays (Nataru).
The grant is part of a collaboration between business actors in supporting the management of safe, professional, and sustainable tourist destinations.
The increase in the number of visitors during the year-end holiday period requires more optimal service readiness, especially in terms of safety and emergency handling.
The presence of this ambulance is expected to strengthen the capacity of the Indonesian Safari Park's medical response in the face of operational dynamics with a higher level of risk.
Director of Operations of Taman Safari Indonesia, Esther Manansang, said that safety was the main foundation in the management of natural-based tourist areas. According to him, safety aspects are not only related to operational techniques, but also become part of long-term responsibility to visitors and the community.
"For us, safety is a moral commitment, not just a procedure. The support from PT Jasaraharja Putera reflects a shared vision in building tourism that provides real and sustainable benefits," said Esther, Tuesday, December 23.
Meanwhile, the Director of Marketing of PT Jasaraharja Putera, Imam Hendrawan, conveyed that the ambulance grant was a manifestation of the company's concern for the safety and health aspects of tourists. He hopes that the facility can improve the quality of emergency services in tourist areas.
"We hope that the presence of this ambulance can be a form of anticipation of various risks that may occur and provide great benefits for improving medical services, so that visitors feel safer and more comfortable," said Imam.
The ambulance will be integrated into the Nataru readiness system of Taman Safari Indonesia, including in crowd management and emergency service coordination during peak visitation periods.
The strengthening of this system is expected to maintain the quality of the family tourism experience even though the number of visitors has increased significantly.
With this step, Taman Safari Indonesia confirms its commitment as a national tourist destination that is managed responsibly, prioritizes safety, and is in line with the principle of sustainability in the face of a surge in visits during the holiday season at the end of the year.
