Importa Group Donates Aid to Flood and Landslide Victims in Aceh Tamiang and North Sumatra
JAKARTA - As a form of concern for people affected by natural disasters, PT Importa Jaya Abadi distributes humanitarian aid to victims of floods and landslides that hit the Aceh Tamiang and North Sumatra regions.
This corporate social responsibility (CSR)/Corporate Social Responsibility activity was represented directly by the Chief Service & Expansion Officer (CSEO), Ikhsan Harahap and Branch Manager Medan, Sandro Leyandi Ginting, Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
This CSR program is the second series carried out by PT Importa Jaya Abadi, after previously on December 10, 2025 distributing used clothing assistance which was handed over to LazisMU Gamping Sleman DIY.
On this second occasion, Importa Jaya Abadi focused on assistance to people affected by natural disasters in Aceh and North Sumatra.
The assistance distributed includes food packages, worship equipment (mukena, sarung and sajadah), diapers, drinking water, medicines, and other basic necessities that are very needed by the victims during the emergency response and post-disaster recovery.
All the assistance has been officially received by the Regent of Aceh Tamiang, Irjen Pol (Purn). Drs. Armia Pahmi, M.H at the Regent's Office of Aceh Tamiang and also the disaster response post in Gampong Bundar, Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang.
During his visit, Ikhsan Harahap conveyed that this series of CSR programs is part of Importa Jaya Abadi's commitment to continue to be present and make a real contribution to the community in need.
"This CSR program is our ongoing commitment to helping the community, especially in disaster-affected areas," said Ikhsan, in his statement.
This distribution was after the company had previously distributed used clothing assistance. So in this second phase, it focuses on meeting the basic needs of flood and landslide victims in Aceh Tamiang and North Sumatra.
"We hope that this assistance can ease the burden and accelerate the recovery process," said Ikhsan.
Through this series of CSR programs, PT Importa Jaya Abadi hopes to continue to strengthen synergies with local governments and various stakeholders, as well as provide positive and sustainable social impacts for communities in various regions of Indonesia.
