Meeting Menpora, Raffi Ahmad Wants To Commercialize League 3
JAKARTA - Youth and Sports Minister Zainudin Amali and the famous and owner of the RANS Cilegon FC club Raffi Ahmad discussed the development of national football including the commercialization of League 3 when meeting at the Kemenpora Building, Jakarta, today.
"We discussed a lot about the development of football because this sport is growing again in Indonesia. Then, in addition to Leagues 1 and 2, we talked about League 3," said Zainudin after meeting with Raffi.
According to the Menpora, the core of his meeting with Raffi was to promote the football industry.
Meanwhile, Raffi said that one of the breakthroughs he offered for the green field business was combining sports and entertainment.
"So in addition to producing extraordinary players, football can also offer entertainment to be enjoyed by people who are predominantly football lovers," said the 34-year-old man.
Regarding League 3, Zainudin said Raffi wanted to dig deeper into the potential of the amateur competition.
The atmosphere of Liga 3 is considered to have its own charm even though it does not have a support base as large as Leagues 1 and 2.
"Raffi has the idea of stimulating Liga 3 because the development there has not been in a commercial direction. Of course, things like this will be coordinated with PSSI," said Zainudin.
"Starting next week, we will also tour several regions to socialize Presidential Instruction Number 3 of 2019 concerning the Acceleration of National Football Development to PSSI associations in regions such as Asprov, Askab and Askot," concluded Zainudin.
