17-Year-Old Teen Victim of Drowning in Lambang Sari Lake Found Dead
JAKARTA - A joint SAR team has successfully found a young man named Dilla (17) who had been missing after drowning in Lambang Sari Lake, Bekasi, in a dead state on Tuesday, December 23.
The victim was found 10 meters from the point where the victim drowned. Then the victim's body was evacuated by the SAR Team and taken to the funeral home.
"The joint SAR team who were standby at the location saw the victim's head rise from the surface of the water. Then immediately evacuated to the land at a distance of 10 m from the LKP," said the Coordinator of the Bekasi SAR Standby Unit, Erdi Jatmiko when confirmed.
After the discovery of the last victim, the evacuation process was finally stopped. All joint SAR personnel were returned to their respective units.
"With the successful discovery of one victim on behalf of Dilla, the SAR operation was proposed to be closed and the organization returned to its respective unity," he said.
Previously, three children were reported to have drowned in Lake Lambang Sari, Buaran Village, Lambang Sari Village, South Tambun District, Bekasi Regency, West Java, Monday, December 22.
From the search results conducted by the joint SAR Team, two victims were found dead. One person is still being searched.
"The victims who died were named Gio (16) and Rasya (14). One person in search was named Dilla (17)," said Bekasi SAR Emergency Unit Coordinator, Erdi Jatmiko when confirmed.
