100 Babinsa Bring Logistics Using Motor to Bener Meriah Disaster Location
JAKARTA - A total of 100 personnel of the National Army's Village Development Officer (Babinsa) escorted logistical assistance with a total weight of 10 tons using trail motorcycles to disaster locations in remote areas in Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh.
Reported by ANTARA, the logistics of disaster victims were carried using a trail motorcycle because the land route was covered with mud after the landslide.
This condition makes the road slippery, narrow and steep so that it is difficult for public vehicles to pass.
The acting commander of the activity, Lieutenant Colonel Patri Andi Ariyanto in a press release explained that the Babinsa deployed came from the Korem 011/Lilawangsa Mobility Acceleration Unit (SPM).
Each motorcycle carries 25 kilograms of logistical assistance.
"Each personnel carries about 25 kilograms. The target of distributing 10 tons of aid is completed within two days as a form of acceleration of distribution to the community," said Patri, Monday, December 22.
He continued that the process of distributing logistics using trail motor was also running smoothly and conducive.
On the other hand, the TNI still deployed helicopters to deliver logistics to disaster victims who were in the most isolated points.
With these efforts, the TNI hopes that logistics can be delivered quickly and maximally to all disaster victims.
