Vice President Gibran Shares Christmas Gifts for Children in Bitung City
MANADO - Vice President, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, distributed Christmas gifts for children while attending the Integrated Christmas Prayer and Concert of the Pentecostal Church in Indonesia (GPdI) throughout the city of Bitung, North Sulawesi.
"Happy Christmas and New Year," said Vice President Gibran, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, December 22.
Before going on stage, Vice President Gibran apologized for being late after visiting the disaster area in Sumatra.
The Vice President hopes that the conditions in Aceh, West Sumatra and North Sumatra will soon recover.
After giving a brief speech, the Vice President then got off the stage and greeted the children who were standing not far from the stage.
When distributing Christmas gifts, Vice President Gibran was accompanied by the Governor of North Sulawesi and the GPdI managers, an estimated 200 children received gifts.
Integrated Christmas Worship and Concert The Pentecostal Church in Indonesia (GPdI) in the city of Bitung, was attended by 10 regions, including 132 church congregations.
It is estimated that there are 5,000 members of the GPdI congregation who will participate in the Christmas Prayer and Concert which will be held at the Bitung City Sports Stadium.
On Tuesday (23/12), Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka is scheduled to visit the Bersehati Market and the Central GPdI in Manado City.
