Doctor Boyke Reveals 4 Secrets for Men to Enjoy Old Age Happily

JAKARTA - Old age is often considered as a time to enjoy the fruits of a lifetime of hard work. However, happiness and self-esteem do not automatically come just because of aging.

Sexologist dr Boyke Dian Nugraha shared four main keys that every man should have to stay happy and dignified until old age.

According to him, many men are too focused on their careers and material achievements, to the point of forgetting to prepare the emotional and financial foundations for their future.

"In life, until old age, there must be four things that we can have as a man who wants to be happy," said Dr. Boyke, quoted from the Metro TV YouTube channel.

He emphasized that happiness in old age does not come instantly, but must be built while still productive and strong.

1. Health is the Foundation of a Quality Life

The most basic thing according to Dr. Boyke is to maintain health. Without a strong body, all plans and dreams can be disrupted.

"Life must be healthy first, then we can do everything," he said.

Dr. Boyke explained that health is not only about not being sick, but also includes an active lifestyle, stress management, and regular check-ups that are often ignored by many men.

2. Being Loved is the Energy to Stay Motivated

Furthermore, it is important for men to feel loved and accepted by their families and closest people. In old age, social support becomes a crucial emotional need.

"Loved by children, grandchildren, in-laws, sisters-in-law, loved by neighbors and everything. We need love to stay motivated to live," explained dr. Boyke.

Harmonious relationships with family not only make life warmer, but also have a great influence on mental health and quality of life.

3. Be Financially Independent and Do Not Rely on Children

Dr. Boyke emphasized that financial independence is often forgotten when you are young, even though it is very important for the future.

"Don't let us depend on children or other people. Be financially independent so that we can determine what we want," he said.

Losing control over one's own finances is one of the biggest sources of stress in old age. Therefore, he advises men to save, invest, and manage their spending wisely early on.

4. Beneficial for Others Become the Most Beautiful Inheritance in Old Age

Finally, Dr. Boyke emphasized the importance of being a useful person. Life is considered meaningful when a person has a positive impact on others, no matter how small his or her contribution.

"The fourth is to be useful to others," he added.

Feeling useful brings happiness that cannot be bought with money, while making someone feel needed.
