Vespa Officina 8 GTV 300 and Sprint 150 Officially Hit the Road in Malaysia with Cheaper Prices

JAKARTA - After landing in Indonesia last October, the 2026 model Vespa Officina 8 GTV 300 officially landed in neighboring Malaysia, which was priced at 37,900 ringgit or Rp155 million, a price that is cheaper than Indonesia which touched Rp179.5 million.

Quoting from the Paultan website, Monday, December 22, at the same time Officina 8 Sprint 150 was also officially present, and sold starting at a price of 22,000 ringgit or Rp90 million

The name Officina 8 refers to the legendary Experimental Department of Piaggio in Pontedera, Italy, where the works that make up the history of Vespa were born.

This model comes with an exclusive Blu Officina 8 color touch, namely industrial blue, which is intense with a touch of brass matte metallic finish.

In addition, other interesting things offered include each logo decorated with gold paint, as well as the wheels. Another special touch on the Officina 8 is the seats, with double contrast stitching decorated with gold and the GTV 300 variant gets a rear cover that mimics the 1950s racing Vespa.

Both variants of these models get racing-style end mirrors, while the GTV 300 gets a plain handlebar mount with a round LCD screen, and the Sprint 150 comes with a conventional handlebar cover and an analog and digital display combination.

Both the Officina 8 GTV 300 and the Sprint 150 are based on Vespa models in the current product range. The GTV 300 comes with a Vespa HPE 300 cc one-cylinder, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine, producing 23.8 HP, with the front lights mounted at the front in homage to the Vespa racing history.

Meanwhile, the Officina 8 Sprint 150 comes with an air-cooled i-GET one-cylinder engine with three valves and a capacity of 154 cc. The power generated by the Sprint 150 is claimed to be 12.5 hp at 7,750 rpm with a maximum torque of 12.3 Nm at 6,750 rpm.
