Police Arrest 222 Ecstasy Pills Courier And Bali In Denpasar
DENPASAR - The Denpasar Police Team arrested an unemployed man named Hendra (36) from Malang, East Java, for being an ecstasy and crystal meth courier in Denpasar, Bali.
"The suspect distributed crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy pills," said Denpasar Police Chief Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, Thursday, May 27.
The suspect was arrested on 4 May in west Denpasar. The police at that time received information on a planned drug transaction in West Denpasar. The police arrested the perpetrator.
When he was searched, he found evidence of a plastic crystal methamphetamine clip. A search was carried out to another location and found four plastic methamphetamine clips and 222 ecstasy pills.
The suspect got this drug from someone called Om. Currently Om is in police investigation.
"The suspect played a role as a drug courier for the types of methamphetamine and ektasi, it has been 5 months and has received a wage of IDR 50,000 per post," he added.
During the arrest, 222 ecstasy items, 149.02 grams of crystal methamphetamine were secured, and 11 digital scales including 11 pieces of pipette.
"The temporary mode is due to economic motives. We are also developing the origin of goods. So far, from the results of our search, we have circulated it in the Denpasar area," said Jansen.
