Agam Regency Builds 116 Temporary Housing in Kayu Pasak Salareh Aia Field

JAKARTA - The Agam Regency Government, West Sumatra, has started to build temporary housing for victims affected by the hydrometeorological disaster that hit the area in late November.

Head of the Agam People's Housing and Settlement Service (Perkim) Rinaldi said the construction of the temporary housing was carried out at the SDN 05 Kayu Pasak Football Field, Nagari or Salareh Aia Village, Palembayan District.

"At this location we will build 116 temporary housing units and the work will be carried out by TNI members," he said as reported by ANTARA, Monday, December 22.

The construction at the Ball Field of SDN 05 Kayu Pasak is underway and has completed several units.

After that, the construction of temporary housing continued at the Sibabaju Ball Field of Jorong Kayu Pasak Timur, Nagari Salareh Aia Timur for 82 units and at the Jajaran Tantaman Field for unit purposes.

"For Palembayan District, there are three locations for the construction of temporary housing for 205 families," he said.

Temporary housing development is also on the DOB Bancah Balingka land, Ampek Koto District for 66 units. Lambeh Field, Jorong Bukik Malanca, Nagari Malalak Timur, Malalak District for 15 units.

Then Pakan Salasa Field, Jorong Sungai Guntuang, Nagari Pasia Laweh, Palupuh District for 38 units. Jorong Bateh Gadang Field, Nagari Pagadih, Palupuh District for 13 units.

Ujuang Kampuang land, Jorong Bancah, Nagari Maninjau, Tanjung Raya District for 140 units

In addition, Linggai Nagari Koto Duo, Tanjung Raya District for 41 units.

"We target the completion of temporary housing construction in the near future, so that the victims can already live there," he said.

He admitted that the size of the temporary residence type 21, there is a bathroom, kitchen, using light steel and GRC walls.

The temporary housing is intended for residents whose houses are severely damaged, are in the red zone or along the river and others.
