KPK Presents 2025 Enforcement Work: 11 OTT and 118 Suspects Established

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has submitted a performance report for 2025. Deputy Chairman of the KPK Fitroh Rohcahyanto said that there were 11 hand-capture operations (OTT) carried out and 118 suspects had been determined.

"There were 11 arrests of suspected perpetrators of corruption, or commonly known as OTT, which the KPK carried out this year, uncovering systematic practices in sectors that touch the lives of many people, such as health services, public works, and even the sale and purchase of positions," said Fitroh in a press conference at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, December 22.

"From the action, during this one year the KPK has named 118 suspects," he continued.

Then, the KPK has also recovered state losses from a number of corruption cases. Including from the PT Taspen (Persero) and PT Insight Investment Management (IIM) fictitious investment cases which have been declared inkrah or have legal force.

"Restoring state assets reached Rp. 1.53 trillion. This figure is the highest in the last five years," said Fitroh.

The KPK has just hattrick or held a silent operation for three times within 1x24 hours on Wednesday, December 17 to Thursday, December 18.

The KPK is known to have carried out a hand-in-hand arrest in the Tangerang, Banten and Jakarta regions on Wednesday, December 17. In this effort, the prosecutor was arrested for allegedly extorting foreign residents.

After the process took place, the results of the silent operation were taken over by the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung). Because, at the same time, the Adhyaksa Corps claimed to have issued a preliminary investigation order (sprindik).

Next, on Thursday, December 18, the KPK also carried out OTT in Hulu Sungai Utara (HSU) South Kalimantan. From this activity, a suspect was determined, namely the Head of the North Hulu Sungai District (Kajari) Albertinus P. Napitupulu; Head of the Intelligence Section (Kasi Intel) Assistant Budianto; and Head of the Civil and State Administration Section (Kasidatun) Taruna Fariadi.

The cadets are currently in custody after fleeing and hitting the investigators. The case that ensnared the three of them was extortion.

Finally, the KPK team carried out OTT in the Bekasi Regency area. From this activity, three suspects were determined, namely the Regent of Bekasi Ade Kuswara Kunang and his father, H. M. Kunang, and a private party named Sarjan.
