Celebrate New Year, Cinta Laura and Arya Vasco Choose Meditation in Thailand
JAKARTA - The Cinta Laura and Arya Vasco couple have a very unique and anti-mainstream way to celebrate the new year. Instead of partying, they actually plan to do a meditation retreat in Thailand.
This vacation plan was sparked by Cinta's desire to start 2026 with a clearer and calmer mental state.
"I believe I want to start 2026 with a clear mind," he said in Senayan, recently.
Arya Vasco added that his father indeed lives in Thailand, so that the country is the right destination for them to visit.
Cinta feels that modern life today is often unhealthy for mental health. The habit of constantly being exposed to gadgets and social media makes humans more easily restless.
"Modern life today is not healthy for humans. We keep scrolling, keep checking our phones," he complained.
Therefore, he wants to use this holiday moment to "digital detox". He wants to be a whole human being again who can enjoy nature and free time without distractions.
In Thailand, they plan to visit a self-love center and attend several meditation workshops. Their main goal is to recharge their energy and prepare for the new year.
"So that he is more grounded, calmer, his mind and heart. So that he is lighter and ready to work again, ready to be productive again," he added.
