Pertamina Patra Niaga Discounts Avtur Prices, Supports Christmas and New Year Holidays

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga provides avtur price discounts in order to support the government's policy to maintain the stability of air ticket prices and encourage the growth of national air transportation activities during the 2025 Christmas and New Year 2026 holiday period.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun, in his statement in Jakarta, Monday, December 22, said the price adjustment was in the form of a discount of up to 10 percent of the avtur price, which will be valid at 37 airport locations from December 22, 2025 to January 10, 2026.

This step is a tangible form of Pertamina in supporting the government's policy to maintain price stability and provide economic stimulus to the national air transportation sector.

"Through this special avtur price policy, Pertamina Patra Niaga hopes to help airlines in optimizing their operating costs, so as to provide room for adjusting air ticket prices to be more affordable for the public," he explained, quoted by Antara.

The 37 strategic airports that receive avtur price discounts are spread throughout Indonesia, ranging from Sumatra, such as Kualanamu, Minangkabau, Sultan Iskandar Muda, Hang Nadim, and H.A.S. Hanandjoeddin, Sultan Syarif Kasim II, and Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin and Java, including Soekarno-Hatta, Halim Perdanakusuma, Achmad Yani, Kertajati, Juanda, and Adisutjipto.

Then, the Bali and Nusa Tenggara regions such as Ngurah Rai and Lombok; Kalimantan, including Supadio, Syamsuddin Noor, and Sepinggan; Sulawesi, including Hasanuddin and Sam Ratulangi; to Maluku and Papua, such as Pattimura, Frans Kaisiepo, and Sentani.

Roberth added that this policy ensures equal support in various regions with high flight intensity during the long holiday period.

In addition to providing special prices, Pertamina also ensures that the current national avtur stock resilience reaches 30 days, so it is safe in the face of a surge in demand during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Roberth ensured the availability of jet fuel in a safe condition at all Aviation Fuel Terminals (AFT) with operational teams on full alert to ensure smooth distribution during the Christmas-New Year period.

"We hope that this step can support the smooth mobility of the community during the Christmas and New Year holidays, as well as provide a positive impact on the national aviation sector," he said.
