This is the Contraflow Traffic Engineering Schedule on the Jasa Marga Toll Road during the Christmas Holiday
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) has released the schedule for the implementation of contraflow traffic engineering on a number of toll roads managed during the 2025 Christmas and New Year holidays (Nataru 2025/2026).
Citing information shared by management in the official @official_jasamarga Instagram account, Monday, December 22, Jasa Marga always maintains the smoothness of people's travel during the Christmas holiday.
"As an effort to optimize traffic flow, Jasa Marga supports contraflow traffic engineering which is implemented on a situational basis on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and Jagorawi Toll Road," wrote Jasa Marga management in the account.
To note, contraflow is a temporary traffic engineering system that diverts a portion of the opposite direction lane to be used by vehicles from the direction that is crowded.
Traffic engineering is often applied during the Lebaran, Nataru or emergency homecoming season.
The following are the provisions for the cobtraflow traffic engineering during the Christmas holiday:
1) Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road (Japek)
Applies from the direction of Cikampek starting from KM 47 (Karawang Barat) to KM 70 (Cikampek)
- Friday, December 19, 2025: Starting at 16.00 WIB until 24.00 WIB
- Saturday and Sunday, December 20 and 21, 2025: Starting at 06.00 to 14.00 WIB
- Tuesday and Wednesday, December 23 and 24, 2025: Starting at 16:00 WIB until 24:00 WIB
- Thursday to Sunday, December 25-28, 2025: Starting at 06:00 WIB until 14:00 WIB
Direction Jakarta starting from KM 70 (Cikampek) to KM 47 (West Karawang)
- Sunday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, December 21, 26, 27 and 28, 2025: Starting at 18.00 WIB until 24.00 WIB.
2) Jakarta-Bogor-Ciawi Toll Road (Jagorawi)
- Sunday, December 21, 2025: Starting at 14.00 WIB until 19.00 WIB
- Tuesday, December 23, 2025: Starting at 14.00 WIB until 19.00 WIB
- Wednesday, December 24, 2025: Starting at 14.00 WIB until 19.00 WIB
- Thursday, December 25, 2025: Starting at 14.00 WIB until 19.00 WIB
- Friday, December 26, 2025: Starting at 14.00 WIB until 19.00 WIB
- Saturday, December 27, 2025: Starting at 14.00 WIB until 19.00 WIB
- Sunday, December 28, 2025: Starting at 14.00 WIB until 19.00 WIB

The schedule for implementing traffic engineering can change in a situational manner taking into account traffic performance (vehicle volume data and operational speed) as well as conditions in the field, following police discretion.
Jasa Marga also appeals to road users to prepare their journeys well, comply with signs and directions from officers in the field.
