Police Build Four Security Posts at Tanjung Priok Port During the 2025 Lilin Jaya Operation
JAKARTA - The Tanjung Priok Port Police has started to hold the Lilin Jaya 2025 Operation in order to secure the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year celebrations. The operation lasted for 14 days, starting from Saturday, December 20, 2025 to January 2, 2026.
The Tanjung Priok Port Police Chief, AKBP Martuasah H. Tobing, said that the Lilin Jaya 2025 Operation was carried out simultaneously by the National Police together with related stakeholders.
"The National Police together with stakeholders will carry out the 2025 Lilin Operation for 14 days, starting from December 20, 2025, involving 146,701 joint personnel," said Martuasah when confirmed, Sunday, December 21.
According to him, security is focused on mapping the potential for security and public order (kamtibmas), security, safety, order, and traffic flow (kamseltibcarlantas), as well as the implementation of traffic engineering. In addition, security is also carried out at places of worship, vital objects, tourist areas, and preparedness for potential disasters and extreme weather.
"Optimizing the 110 Police emergency service and public communication is also a major concern in this operation," he said.
The Police Chief emphasized the importance of solidarity, synergy, and professionalism of all personnel in the implementation of security.
"The success of Christmas and New Year security is a shared responsibility," he said.
In Operation Lilin Jaya 2025, the Tanjung Priok Port Police established one integrated post at the Nusantara Pura Passenger Terminal of Tanjung Priok Port and one service post at Kali Adem, Muara Angke Port.
In addition, three security posts were established, each at Gate IX of Tanjung Priok Port, NPCT 1, and the Muara Baru Modern Fish Market. These security posts are guarded by 21 personnel.
The strength of the personnel involved in the Operation Lilin Jaya 2025 in the legal jurisdiction of the Tanjung Priok Port Police numbered 75 personnel, consisting of Operation Post 10 personnel, Gakkum Task Force 2 personnel, Banops Task Force 5 personnel, Kamseltibcarlantas Task Force 2 personnel, Preventive Task Force 2 personnel, Preemtif Task Force 2 personnel, staff staff 9 personnel, and leadership personnel 2 personnel.
