Driver and Kernet of Cold Diesel Truck Died After Being Hit by Iron He Was Carrying

JAKARTA - The driver and passengers of a cold diesel truck with the number F 8208 BG were found dead after being hit by the iron cargo he was carrying on Jalan Cakung-Cilincing, Cilincing District, North Jakarta. It is suspected that the vehicle was carrying iron cargo in excess of capacity.

The incident occurred when the iron cargo in the cabin fell and hit the cold diesel car.

As a result, the cold diesel car suffered a ring. The cold diesel driver with the initials YH and the passenger with the initials ESG died at the scene after suffering serious head injuries.

"The incident occurred when the cold diesel driver was driving from south to north, when braking the front cabin was hit by the iron cargo he was carrying and also hit the Suzuki Ertiga B 2649 UZF which was driving in front of the cold diesel," said Kanit Laka Lantas of the North Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Edy Wibowo when confirmed, Sunday, December 21.

The cold diesel vehicle suffered damage to the front cabin ring.

"Meanwhile, the Suzuki Ertiga suffered damage to the rear door with dents and scratches, the right rear light was broken, the rear glass was broken, the right rear bumper was dented and scratched," he said.

Until now, the North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Accident Unit is still investigating the cause of the incident.

"The cause is still under investigation," he said.
