Serang - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto attended a mass ceremony for 50,030 units of Sejahtera Home Ownership Credit (KPR) Liquidity Facility for Housing Financing (FLPP) and the handover of subsidized house keys at the Pondok Banten Indah Housing, Serang City, Banten, on Saturday, December 20.
During the hybrid event, a touching moment occurred when President Prabowo sat next to Ayu, a domestic helper (ART), and Fauzi Nurdian, a seblak trader. Both of them are beneficiaries of the subsidized house program representing low-income people (MBR) from the informal sector.
"This program proves that decent housing can now be accessed by informal workers such as ART and street vendors, who have often had difficulty owning their own homes," said Fauzi.
President Prabowo expressed his joy at this achievement, although he admitted that the journey was still long. "Today I feel happy, although I realize that the journey is still long, our ideals are still far away. 29 million of our people still do not have a house. So, we have to work hard, all compact, find a way. If there is a will, there must be a way," said Prabowo.
This event became the largest subsidized house mass deed in Indonesia's history, with 300 deeds carried out directly on site and the rest online in various provinces. The handover of keys was symbolically handed over to 10 MBR representatives from various professions, including teachers, blind masseurs, mobile coffee traders, online motorcycle drivers, seblak sellers, TNI soldiers, laborers, dai, barbers, and fishermen.

"They refused to give up with a difficult situation. Some are single parents, their husbands are sick, but they work hard," said Maruarar. He also highlighted Ayu, who now has a house in her own name thanks to this program.
Until December 19, 2025, the distribution of FLPP has reached 263,017 units with a value of Rp32.67 trillion. This program is a continuation of the previous era and was improved under the Prabowo administration, with a target of a subsidized housing quota in 2025 reaching 350 thousand units - the largest in history.
"This event confirms that the subsidized housing program really reaches small communities, giving new hope to millions of Indonesians to have decent housing," he said.
