Prabowo witnessed the mass marriage of 50,030 subsidized houses in Banten: Our goal is a prosperous people
JAKARTA - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto witnessed the mass signing of 50,030 subsidized houses intended for various professions such as domestic helpers (ART), teachers to online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol) at the Banten Indah Housing, Serang, Banten. According to him, these groups are also entitled to a decent home. Prabowo emphasized that the main goal of Indonesian independence is to realize the welfare of the people, including ensuring that small people have decent homes.
"Our goal for independence is a prosperous people. Today is our effort to help the weakest people, who are still not strong, who want to live with dignity, want to live with dignity with a decent quality of life," said Prabowo, Saturday, December 20.
Prabowo said that the mass deed program for 50,030 subsidized houses was a real step for the government to improve the quality of life of low-income people.
"They must have a decent house. This is a very proud effort, but it is still far from what we have to achieve," he said.
On the same occasion, Prabowo also emphasized the importance of a clean government so that the benefits of development can really be felt by the people.
"If those who provide services are not good, not honest, the wealth will continue to not reach the people. A clean government is the key to the revival of a nation," he said. In the context of building subsidized houses for the people, the President emphasized that the government's attention should be given to the weakest group by closing the simple meaning of leadership.
"The task of a leader is to make children iso gemuyu. Little people can laugh and smile, that means they can live decently," said Prabowo.
