Artsy Classy Challange 2025 Becomes a Space for Illustrators to Work and Collaborate Across Mediums

JAKARTA - Artsy Classy Challange 2025 is an illustration competition organized by the Jakarta Illustration & Creative Arts Fair (JICAF) together with Yamaha. The competition has a theme of Classy Reimagined, which gives space for illustrators to work and collaborate across mediums.

Through this competition, illustrators are invited to create unique illustrations inspired by the stylish Yamaha Grand Filano motorcycle character. They are asked to express visual works with the inspiration of the motorcycle, which is part of today's urban life.

JICAF Co-Founder, Sunny Gho, said that this competition is an important moment for JICAF to continue to encourage an inclusive and collaborative creative ecosystem.

"Through Classy Reimagined, JICAF wants to invite creators to not only celebrate aesthetics, but also dare to reinterpret the meaning of classics according to their identity and the context of today," said Sunny Gho, at Blok M Space, Jakarta, on Friday, December 19, 2025.

"Artsy Cllasy Challange is a space for ideas, processes, and collaboration that we hope can inspire more parties," he added.

At the peak of the event, JICAF announced the three main winners of the Top 50 Showcase. The first winner is entitled to receive one unit of Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid, which is expected to further encourage illustrators to continue working.

In addition, the series of competitions was also enlivened by live painting activities, which presented a direct art experience and closer to the public. The event will take place on December 19-21, 2025 at M Bloc Space, Jakarta.

With this format, visitors can witness how ideas are realized spontaneously, dynamically, and expressively, while strengthening the dialogue between artists and art lovers.
