Nataru Holidays Use Electric Cars, Don't Forget to Do This
JAKARTA - Christmas and New Year holidays (Nataru) are one of the busiest travel periods in Indonesia. Not only for homecoming, many families take advantage of this momentum for road trips or tours to various cities, coinciding with school holidays.
Private cars, especially electric cars, are now the main choice because they offer silent and energy-efficient driving comfort. However, increased mobility also means that the volume of vehicles on the road will soar, especially on tourist routes and cross-city routes.
This situation requires electric cars to be in optimal condition so that the journey remains safe and free of interference. Unfortunately, checking the condition of the vehicle is still often considered trivial by some users, even though a simple inspection can prevent the risk of breakdowns, battery depletion, and technical problems in the middle of the journey.
Seeing this trend, Hyundai Gowa invites electric car owners to start checking early before starting the holiday trip at the end of the year, especially if the route is quite far or passes through a dense lane. Some important things to note include tire pressure according to the manufacturer's standard, battery cooling volume so that the thermal system remains stable, wiper fluid to maintain visibility, 12 volt battery condition, and the health of the high voltage battery which is the main source of energy for the vehicle.
In addition to basic checks, electric car owners can also maximize vehicle mileage with efficient driving style. Using ECO mode while driving on the highway, setting the AC temperature at a moderate level, and using regenerative braking while going down the road can help keep the battery power economical.
"So the best preparation is to check the condition of the vehicle, for EV cars can start from checking the High Voltage battery, periodic service, to technical consultation before going on vacation. Immediately make a booking at the nearest Hyundai Gowa branch and take advantage of the convenience of your EV car service," said Marketing & Promotion Department Head Hyundai Gowa Cahaya Fitri Tantriani, quoted from official statement, Saturday, December 20.
During the school holidays and year-end period, Hyundai Gowa's official workshops continue to operate as usual. The workshop is only closed on December 25, 2025 and January 1, 2026. The Hyundai Gowa workshop network is available in various regions of Indonesia, ranging from Jakarta (Hyundai Pramuka, Lotte Mall, Fatmawati, Kebon Jeruk, Supermal Karawaci), West Java (Hyundai Ahmad Yani Bandung), East Java (Hyundai HR Muhammad Surabaya), Bali (Hyundai Sunset Road), South Sulawesi (Hyundai Urip Sumoharjo), to North Sulawesi (Hyundai Manado).
