Polri Mutasi 1.086 Personel, Puluhan Polwan Dipromosikan ke Jabatan Strategis
JAKARTA - The National Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Polri) carried out a mutation and promotion of high-ranking officers (Pati) and mid-level officers (Pamen) in December 2025. This mutation highlights the strengthening of the role of female police (Polwan) who are trusted to occupy a number of strategic positions.
A total of 1,086 Polri personnel are listed in five Telegram Letters (ST) mutations issued on December 15, 2025.
Karopenmas Divhumas Polri Brigjen Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko menyampaikan, dari jumlah tersebut, sebanyak 35 Polwan memperoleh promosi jabatan.
"One of them is Brigadier General Pol Sulastiana who is trusted to hold the position of West Papua Police Chief," he said in a written statement, Saturday, December 20, 2025.
In addition, 17 female police officers were promoted to the rank of Police Commissioner, said Truno, the majority of them filling the position of Director of Women and Children Protection Investigation and Eradication of Human Trafficking (Dirres PPA and PPO) in various Polda, including Polda Metro Jaya, West Java, Central Java, East Java, North Sumatra, South Sumatra, to the East Indonesia region.
"The strengthening of the structure of the PPA and PPO Directorates in a number of Poldaes is the commitment of the National Police in improving services and protection for women, children, and vulnerable groups. The placement of female police officers in these positions is expected to be able to present a more humane and responsive approach," he said.
Then, six female police officers were also entrusted to serve as the police chief in a number of areas, namely Karimun, Majalengka, Batang, Tebing Tinggi, Purbalingga, and Samosir. This assignment reflects the trust of the police leadership in the leadership capacity of female police officers in the field.
"Overall, the December 2025 mutation also includes 50 Pati and Pamen personnel in special categories, 79 personnel who will undergo education, and 11 personnel who will enter retirement," he said.
Trunoyudo explained that mutation is part of career development and organizational refreshment to strengthen the performance of the National Police in facing the challenges of future tasks.
"Mutations are a natural thing in the Polri organization. In addition to being a form of career development, this step is also aimed at improving professionalism and optimizing services to the community," he added.
The five ST mutations include the shift of Pati and Pamen for organizational needs, job promotions, to nivellering. Of the total mutation, as many as 928 personnel received promotions or equivalent assignments (flat), including the appointment of Inspector General of Police Edy Murbowo as the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Police Chief.
"Through this mutation, the National Police hopes that the organization will be more solid, adaptive, and able to provide the best protection and services for all levels of society," he concluded.
