ITDC Ensures the Safety of Tourists Visiting Mandalika on the Nataru Holiday
JAKARTA - InJourney together with InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) ensures the safety of visitors during the surge in tourists on Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 through strengthening risk management and operational readiness as well as excellent service.
ITDC Operations Director Troy Warokka in Mataram, Saturday, December 20, said the Christmas and New Year period was a phase with a high level of tourist mobility, so it needed a measured and prudent risk management to maintain the stability of the region's operations.
"ITDC ensures that Christmas and New Year preparations are managed within the framework of strong risk management and governance. Our focus is on maintaining visitor safety, ensuring the smooth operation of the area, and the sustainability of destination performance in the midst of increased tourism activity," he said, quoted by Antara.
He said that in the Mandalika area, his party projected that the number of tourist visits during the Christmas and New Year period would reach 118,733 arrivals.
This increase in visits is supported by a series of year-end activities organized by tenants in the area.
"Among others, gala dinners and musical entertainment at a number of hotels, live music and DJ performances on New Year's Eve," he said.
All tenant activities at The Mandalika are carried out with the supervision and coordination of ITDC together with related stakeholders, to ensure that the aspects of security, comfort, and order of the area are maintained during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Troy explained that in order to support the smoothness and comfort during the year-end holiday period, ITDC also strengthened the operational and security aspects of the area.
This step includes the establishment of a readiness post at strategic points, arranging access and traffic in the area, as well as intensive and measured coordination with related stakeholders to anticipate an increase in visitor activity.
"The operational approach that we apply is to ensure that all areas can enjoy the Christmas and New Year momentum safely, orderly, and under control without reducing the quality of the tourism experience," he said.
Through all the preparations that have been made, ITDC believes that the end-of-year holiday period will offer a quality and memorable holiday experience for tourists, while also encouraging sustainable economic movement in the region.
