Jakarta SDN Teachers Spread Palestinian-President Hoax Not Yet Sanctioned
JAKARTA - Jakarta Education Agency Public Relations Officer Taga Radja Gah admitted that his party had not sanctioned teachers who spread hoax issues about Palestine and the president through the WhatsApp group.
"No, there are no (sanctions) yet," said Taga when confirmed, Thursday, May 27.
Taga said, the party who decided to impose sanctions on teachers became the authority in the field of Guidance and Development of Educators and Education Personnel (PTK).
However, currently PTK is still focused on preparing for the admission of new DKI students (PPDB) for the 2021 school year.
"I have no news yet because the PTK is focused on PPBD for pre-registration," said Taga.
It was previously known that a public elementary school teacher spread a forward message about Palestinian hoaxes and the President in the WhatsApp group "Teachers in DKI Jakarta G4".
"An entry permit certificate from the Palestinian government in 1935 was for Simon Perez as a cleaning service. Decades later, he became PM Israhell (Israel) and persecuted and massacred the Palestinian people. Similar to China entering Indonesia, unskill labor lived in Indonesia and became president, "write the contents of the message.
After being busy, separated, the teacher who spread the hoax was called by the PTK. The teacher admits his wrong actions and regrets. Although, his defense only passed on the information he got and had no intention of insulting the President.
"It turned out that he really regretted that it was not true. He had no intention of insulting the President. Second, it was not his writing, but he was just sharing. In essence, he did it incorrectly and admitted that it was an inappropriate act," said Dinas Public Relations. Education DKI Taga Radja Gah.
This case upset the member of Commission E DPRD DKI Ima Mahdiah. Ima received a report from the DKI Jakarta Education Agency saying that the teacher had submitted an apology along with a signature on the stamp.
However, Ima asked Nahdiana to sanction the PNS teacher. This is because the imposition of sanctions can have a deterrent effect and prevent the spread of other fake news.
"How can a teacher spread hoaxes. We are also concerned and concerned about the incident in Palestine. But it is also not justified to spread hoaxes," he said.
"This must have a deterrent effect so that it does not cause other hoaxes. Moreover, he is an educator who will be emulated by students. If hoaxes continue to spread, it is not true that we have a nation's generation," added Ima.
