BGN Funds Not Yet Disbursed, 11 SPPG Blora Stop Supplying MBG

JAKARTA - A total of 11 kitchens of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) serving the free nutritious meal program (MBG) in Blora Regency, Central Java, were forced to temporarily stop operations, following the non-liquidation of the budget from the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).

SPPG Blora Regional Coordinator (Korwil) Artika Diannita confirmed that the number of kitchens that stopped operating continued to increase in the last two days.

"As of today, there are 11 SPPG kitchens that have stopped operating. Yesterday, Monday, there were still 10 kitchens, today it has increased to 11 kitchens. The reason is that the funds have not been disbursed," he said as reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 19.

Artika explained that kitchens that had not received the disbursement of funds were strictly prohibited from serving MBG.

This is different from the previous mechanism, where the foundation or BGN partner is still allowed to use personal rescue funds.

"The scheme now cannot use bailout funds. The funds must be liquid first, then the kitchen can operate," he said.

The SPPG operational fund is disbursed by the central BGN through a virtual account (VA) mechanism. Meanwhile, the temporary cessation of operations is also related to budget adjustments at the end of 2025.

"Indeed, at the end of this year there is an adjustment. The balance is zero. Then in January it will be normal again," he said.

However, Artika ensured that services for priority groups such as toddlers, nursing mothers, and pregnant mothers would still continue in kitchens that still had balances.

Meanwhile, regarding the distribution of MBG to schools during the semester break, the policy is flexible, depending on the agreement between the SPPG and the school.

"If the school is willing to accept, then the service can still be provided," he said.

The following are 11 SPPG kitchens in Blora Regency that have temporarily stopped operating, namely SPPG Karangjati (Blora), SPPG Doplang (Jati), SPPG Wado 1 (Kedungtuban), SPPG Klopoduwur (Banjarejo), SPPG Sumberagung (Banjarejo), SPPG Sidomulyo (Banjarejo), SPPG Kediren (Randublatung), SPPG Tawangrejo (Kunduran), SPPG Nglanjuk (Cepu), SPPG Kedungjenar 1 (Blora) and SPPG Cepu 1.

Until now, the Korwil SPPG Blora party has not been able to determine when funds from the center will be disbursed. However, they ensure that kitchen operations will return to normal immediately after funds are deposited into the respective SPPG accounts.
