Kejagung Benarkan Jaksa Terjaring OTT KPK

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office revealed that one of the two suspected suspects from the arrest operation (OTT) by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in Banten was a prosecutor in the province.

"One of them," said Acting Secretary of the Attorney General's Office for Intelligence (Sesjamintel) Sarjono Turin at the KPK's Red and White Building, Jakarta, Thursday, December 18 evening.

When asked about the identity of another suspected suspect, Sarjono said the Kejaksaan Agung would announce it on Friday (19/12) morning.

"Later we will see tomorrow (Friday, 19/12) morning. What is clear is that I have explained that what was handed over tonight (Thursday, 18/12) there are two," he said.

Previously, the KPK carried out an OTT in Banten on December 17-18, 2025, and arrested a prosecutor, two lawyers, and six private parties.

In the series of hand-to-hand arrests, the KPK revealed that it had seized evidence of cash amounting to Rp900 million.

On December 18, 2025, the KPK handed over the case files of two suspected suspects from the Banten OTT to the Attorney General's Office.
